It is truly amazing how much poop alpacas can generate in a day! Anybody
that has ever cleaned up a poop pile knows that alpacas will wait patiently
until you're done cleaning. Then, they will all walk over and proceed to drop more poop right on your nice clean spot.
So what do you do with all that alpaca poop you ask?
Conscientious gardeners know that you need to feed the soil. By increasing the organic matter in the soil (ie alpaca poop) you promote the proliferation of tiny little microorganisms and create a healthy, nutritious environment for your plants. Good, rich organic soil helps plants to fight off disease, helps plants survive during drought conditions, and makes the nutrients available at a slow and steady pace. Because good soil holds the moisture better, you don't need to water daily. Just imagine a lower water bill!
So remember this Spring to use it as a fertilizer for your flower beds, vegetable garden and fruit trees.
